2019 was an amazing year for the Norwegian hurdler. Warholm endured a long season, and the challenges of 3 men under 47 seconds, and the season, even with ups and downs for his competitors, showcased Karsten as the finest 400m hurdler in the world.

HAMAR (NOR): It was a great evening for Norwegian Athletics at the Norway Sports Gala. Karsten Warholm won in total three prizes. He was the best in the vote of journalists, people and the jury. Won the most important titles of the Sports Person of the Year like back in 2017. The top award went to athletics for third year in a row, in 2018 Jakob Ingebrigtsen was awarded. His coach Leif Olav Alnes was named Coach of the Year and Para sprinter Salum Kashafali wins the title of Norway´s Para Sports Person of the Year.
