Eighth mile in 4:44 for the men, on world record pace, seven miles in 32:56, eight miles in 37:41. The temperature is 35.7 degrees. Nine miles in 40:36. Ten miles in 47:14, eleven miles in 52:00, twelve miles in 56:41, thirteen miles in 1:01.31 and the halfway in 1:02:00-just perfect pace!
14 miles for men in 1:06:15, fifteen miles in 1:11.03, and sixteen miles in 1:15:53. It looks like the last pace setter, Patrick Ivuti dropped out after fifteen miles.
Tera Moody is leading eleven women by six seconds. Moody is leading in 40:47. Moody is not running crazy, she is running within her limits. By eight miles, Moody was swallowed up by the elite women’s field, led by Mikitenko. Nine miles in 52:17, ten miles in 57:23, and eleven miles in 1:03:39, twelve miles in 1:09:05. Teyba Erkesso Ethiopia has a three second lead on the other elite women in the pack. Women’s eleven miles in 1:03:39, twelve miles in 1:09:05, and 13 miles in 1:14:29. Half way was hit in 1:15:03.
