2025-2026 Active Recovery from Cross-Country, December 19, 2025, Week 1, Day 5, Enjoying the rest

The 2026 World Athletics Indoor Tour will return in 2026!

NIKE presents #TheJourneytoCompete, celebrating cross-country and the NIKE Cross Nationals, Issues, 1-10, Back Issues, Fall/Winter 2025

Well, people have been saying David Rudisha could get the world record for 800 meters, and now, he does it! 1:41.09 for 800 meters, or an average of 50.5 for two 400 meters! When Wilson Kipketer broke the world record, people thought it was, well, Beamonesque. Rudisha has the daring and aggressive to take a stagnant event (the 800 meters) and make it exciting once again.

On the women’s side, Caster Semenya ran her first 800 meters in world class competition since her gold medal run in Berlin. Her win here, in 1:59.05, gives her two wins in Berlin.
