Since it’s inception, the London Marathon has had 781, 635 finishers! In it’s first year, 6,255 finished the London Marathon, in 2010, 36, 550 finished the Virgin London Marathon. Now, in its’ 31rst year, the 2011 Virgin London Marathon should be a barn burner! Liliya Shobukova is at the top of her game, and, in this viewer’s mind, and that of my keen observer group, seems unbeatable. The men’s race is wide open, in my mind, which should make for a very fast race! See you in London Friday afternoon, and in Boston, Sunday night!
