Jenny Simpson is the 2011 World Champion at 1,500 meters. In 2012, Jenny has already won the USA Indoor titles at the 1,500m and 3,000m. Jenny and her coach, Julia Benson, are watching her racing opportunities as they focus on the US Olympic Trials and then, the big one, London 2012.
The following is a nicely done video courtesy of the Team New Balance folks, who have woven her story from 2011 to now, as she looks to building on her victory in Daegu, Korea. Jenny Simpson is a talented runner over 1,500m, 5,000m, and the steeplechase. Her closing speed, and her sense of timing earned her the gold medal in Daegu, Korea. We wish her great things in 2012!
