PORTLAND (USA): US distance running prodigy Mary Cain will graduate from Bronxville High School on June 21 and then, after her driving test, she will be able to focus solely on her summer athletics season, which now looks to have the World Juniors on it, report RunnersSpace. The 18 year old said, “I’m planning to run the 1500m in New York on the 14th. “And I’m definitely thinking about the World Juniors.” Originally she has planned to compete in the Paris Diamond League, but a winter injury, thought to be caused my too much treadmill running, forced her to change her plans.
Editor’s note: If you want to see Mary Cain race, then go to adidasgrandprix.com and purchase tickets for the June 14 event!
