The journey back from injuries for world class athletes is particularly difficult. Remembering how easy something was when you are the top of your game, the time that it takes to get back is much slower.
At the AREVA Paris meeting, Blanka Vlasic gave a most heartfelt interview. At the Paris meeting, Blanka Vlasic reached two meters, for the first time in nearly three years.
After Vlasic competed in Zagreb, she has decided it is time to allow her body time to rest. 2015 and 2016 have big meets.
ZAGREB (CRO): After finishing 2nd with 193 at 64th Hanzekovic Memorial Zagreb Meeting (IAAF World Challenge) Blanka Vlasic announced on her Facebook the end of the season. “Now my comeback season is finished, it wasn’t easy but I’m healthy and motivated for the next year. This is a good place to start all over again.”
