Skechers GOrun Ultra Extreme Named Best Value Shoe in Running Network, LLC 2014 Fall Shoe Review
SAN JOSE – Skechers’ GOrun Ultra Extreme earns top honors as Best Value Shoe in the Fortius Media Group, LLC 2014 Fall Shoe Review.

To start the shoe review process, shoes are matched to the footstrike, motion and foot shape of wear testers. The testers report on seven key performance characteristics during the testing process. A software system then calculates all tester data to reveal a top shoe in each category. The software system was developed by Cregg Weinmann, Fortius Media Group’s footwear reviewer.
“For the Fall Review, testers piled on hundreds of marathon training miles to put the shoes through their paces. This rigorous testing provides the critical feedback that validates the strengths of shoes from the various brands. The shoe’s shape and structure are made up of a closed upper, stretch mesh with traditional overlays, reinforced stitching, and water-resistant synthetic fabric along the sides. The midsole’s taller-than-average 27mm stack height is made of a soft layer of foam, offering plenty of cushion. The 4mm heel-to-toe drop makes for a flatter footstrike. The outersole is Resagrip, a rubbery compound with a lugged surface to grip the road, trail, and everything in between.
