The focus of this Conversation with Larry is the Great City Games (May 20) and Great Run (May 22), both, to be held in Manchester, England. This is my second year at the events, and I have to say that I truly enjoy them! The chance to meet with some of the finest athletes in the world, from Greg Rutherford to Kim Collins, to Dafne Schippers in the Great City Games and the intimacy of the event, make the Great City Games a big hit. The Sunday 10k, the Great Run Manchester, will feature a very top field, with Kenenisa Bekele and Wilson Kipsang battling for the first time since the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon. Besides discussing the races, I also opine on why the events are so important.
