Bolt, Farah, Thompson etc among Laureus nominees
MONACO (MON): Olympic champions Mo Farah, Usain Bolt and Elaine Thompson are among the nominees for the Laureus World Sports Awards. Farah and Bolt are nominated for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year Award while Thompson and Allyson Felix are nominated for the Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year Award. Olympic and European high jump champion Ruth Beitia has been nominated for the Laureus World Comeback of the Year award while Almaz Ayana and Wayde van Niekerk are nominated for the Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year award. The winners will be revealed in Monaco on February 14.
