BERLIN (GER, Jan 26): The men’s pole vault will be among the most anticipated events at the ISTAF Indoor in Berlin on Friday. France’s world record-holder Renaud Lavillenie goes against Brazil’s Olympic champion Thiago Braz da Silva and 2015 world champion Shawn Barber. Olympic champions Robert Harting (2012 discus) and Tianna Bartoletta (2016 long jump) are also due to appear. The sprints feature former world champion Kim Collins, China’s Su Bingtian and Churandy Martina. 2015 world 100m hurdles silver medallist Cindy Roleder competes in front of the home crowd. Olympic discus champion Christoph Harting has pulled out, having not recovered from surgery in December.
