FOR THE 50 BEST STORES IN AMERICA CONFERENCE AND AWARDS

PORTLAND, Maine (Sept. 18, 2018) – Diversified Communications, organizers of The Running Event held each year in Austin, today announced the date and location of the 2019 50 Best Running Stores in America conference and awards ceremony. The popular program that identifies and honors the very best running stores in the country, will be held May 20-22, 2019, at Arizona’s El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort.
During the event, the 50 Best Running Stores in America will come together to meet one-on-one with some of the best brands in the industry. Stores are selected by the running community and carefully vetted by a “Secret Shopper” who rates the retailer based on a list of criteria including store appearance, customer service, and purchase procedures.

Other activities at the 2019 50 Best conference will be networking and meetings with key brands, as well as a happy hour reception, an awards dinner and access to a 24-hour fitness room, three golf courses, six pools and lighted tennis courts.
“Honoring these 50 retailers in the running industry helps raise the bar for all retailers who can learn from the best of the best. Ultimately, it’s the customer who benefits from improved product selection, customer service, and overall experience,” says Diversified Communications’ Bill Springer, executive vice president.
In 2018, Rush Running in Bentonville, Arkansas, was named Store of the Year. Finalists were Fitniche, Lakeland, Fla.; Fleet Feet Spokane; and Run for Your Life, Charlotte, N.C.
