2018 Airtel Delhi Half Marathon Diary: Jepkosgei versus Dibaba

Jepkosgei vs Tirunesh
NEW DELHI (IND): Excellent line-ups have been assembled for the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon on Sunday, informs organisers. The women’s race is headed by world record-holder Joyciline Jepkosgei from Kenya and multiple world and Olympic 5000m and 10,000m champion Tirunesh Dibaba, who returns to racing one month after finishing third in the Berlin Marathon in 2:18:55. The line-up also includes fellow leading Ethiopians Ababel Yeshaneh (65:46), Worknesh Degefa (66:14) Zeinaba Yimer (66:21) and Senbere Teferi (debut). Top entrants in the men’s race include Kenyans Alex Korio (58:51) and Daniel Kipchumba (59:06), Ethiopians Leul Gebresilase (59:18) and Feyisa Lilesa (59:22), New Zealand’s Zane Robertson 59:47 and last year’s runner-up Andamlak Belihu from Ethiopia (59:51) and last year’s third-placer Leonard Korir from the United States (59:52).
