Machel Cedenio opened with 45.03 in the 400 m over indoor IAAF Tour winner Nathan Strother 45.64. Another Trinidad win for Kelly-Ann Baptiste in the 100 m with 11.22 (-0.6). In women hurdles Christina Clemons (formerly Manning) got fast 12.79 (+0.7) in heats and even better but windy 12.59 (+2.3) in the finals.
