HAMAR (NOR, Aug 2): Sensational Karsten Warholm clocked 47.43 (3rd best of his career) to win the national title at 400 m hurdles. It is the best ever achieved time at national championships (except of USA) and with biggest winning margin at this level (3.54 s). Second Andreas Bakketun improved the national U20 mark to 50.97 and will belong to U20 category also in 2020. After 1:20 hrs after this run (13 strides for the full distance) Warholm won the 400 m round one in 47.93 and will run the finals on Saturday. Henrik Ingebrigtsen won the 5000 m title in 13:50.77, when marathon runner Sondre Nordstad Moen was third 13:57.88. Jakob Ingebrigtsen was best in his 1500 m heat with tactical 4:02.01. Amalie Iuel won the 400 m hurdles of women in 56.08 and also later won her flat heat in 55.47. Ingar Kiplesund won long jump 793 (0.0) and Ola Stunes Isene discus 63.17. In the 100 m finals titles for Ezinne Okparaebo 11.40 (+1.6) and visually impaired Salum Kashafali 10.37 (+2.3).
