Not only Duplantis

LIEVIN (FRA): The Lieving meeting will be for first time staged as World Indoor Tour event on Wednesday. And right with Mondo Duplantis in World record shape. The Arena Stade Couvert was closed from 2012 to the end of 2017 due to structural problems. Adam Kszczot will go for third tour win after 2016 and 2018 in the 800 m. Some thoughts about the World indoor record also in triple jump as Burkina Faso´s Hugues Fabrice Zango is in top shape with 17.77 this year and the global mark beeing 17.92. Women hurdles will see another clash Nia Ali vs Christina Clemons. Ronnie Baker is in the position to attack the tour leader Slovak Jan Volko in the men´s 60 m. Long jump favorite Ukrainian Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk. Selemon Barega goes as top name in men´s 3000 m and his team-mate Samuel Tefera in the 1500 m. In women 1500 m Gudaf Tsegay with Canadian Gabriela Debues-Stafford are the ones to watch. Strong Briton Jemma Reekie is the 800 m favorite, in the men hurdles Orlando Ortega vs Pascal Martinot-Lagarde. Murielle Ahoure and Gina Bass go in women 60 m and Sandi Morris fresh from US title in pole vault. Local star and 2017 World champion Pierre Ambroise Bosse goes in the final event of the evening 1000 m. In rare women 2000 m steeple German Gesa Felicitas Krause and Bahrain´s Winfried Yavi will go for all-time best which is currently 6:05.29 by Russian Mariya Bykova from 2013.
