Mondo Duplantis is one of our sports’ superstars. He will continue to compete in Europe, well, most likely Sweden, as long as it is safe.

GOTHENBURG (SWE): Armand Duplantis will make his debut on Swedish soil in Gothenburg on 4 July, informs SVT. The world record-holder faces world bronze medallist Piotr Lisek from Poland and Belgium’s Ben Broeders with Norwegian talent Pal Haugen Lillefosse. In the women’s pole vault, Swedish stars Angelica Bengtsson and Michaela Meijer face Finland’s Wilma Murto while Thobias Montler, Khaddi Sagnia and Tilde Johansson are confirmed for the long jump competitions. The event will take place behind closed doors.
