Marusa Mismas -Zrimsek is a Slovenian steeplechase specialist. She has competed, early in career, at the 400m hurdles (Youth Olympic Games, 2010), then moved to the 800/1500m, and now, the steeplechase.

LJUBLJANA (SLO, July 16): Marusa Mismas -Zrimsek highlighted the 15th edition of Sustersic and Cvetan Memorial here as she won in a solo race the 2000 m steeple in 5:56.28. It is second fastest ever behind the all-time best of Gesa Felicitas Krause 5:52.80 from last year ISTAF in Berlin. Also to note Tina Sutej’s win in the pole vault with 4.50m. Maja Mihalinec won the 200m with 23.53 (+0.1) and Nick Kocevar 10.49 (+0.2) in the 100 m. Venezuelan throwing wins for Ahymará Espinoza who took the shot with 17.40 and Rosa Rodriguez hammer 67.94 over Hungarian Reka Gyuratz 67.39. Second career best for Hungarian javelin thrower Reka Szilagyi 61.00. Talented Klara Lukan won the mile in Slovenian U23 record 4:40.02. Croatian Ivana Loncarek won the hurdles in 13.35 (-0.2).
