BELGRADE (SRB): World record holder Mondo Duplantis sounded optimistic after Belgrade 610 WL ahead of European Indoors in Torun. “I feel great. I had small tendon problems before, and that’s probably one of the reasons I got tired quickly. My legs were ‘dead’ and ‘tired,’ and you just have to be perfectly prepared for the world record. It’s great that I became the first in Serbia to jump over six meters. I want to jump over six meters in every country. As for the preparations for the Olympics, things are going in the right direction. I want to be ready for the European Championships first. I feel good and I feel that the world record is close, “Duplantis said.
