CANBERRA (AUS, Mar 11): Linden Hall clocked the fastest time ever by an Australian on home soil with 4:02.02 WL to win the 1500m at the Canberra Track Classic (WACT Bronze) in wet conditions. Christopher Mitrevski was just short of his PB with 8.03m to win the long jump. Catriona Bisset was four seconds clear in winning the 800m in 2:00.19, while the men’s went to Peter Bol 1:45.23 from New ZealandÂ´s Brad Mathas 1:46.01. In the 1500 m Jye Edwards 3:37.30 with third Jaryd Clifford getting World record for para visually impaired category 3:41.34. Rohan Browning took the 100m in 10.34 (-0.7) over Jack Hale 10.42. Alex Beck clocked 45.85 in the 400 m. Nick Hough won the 110 hurdles in 13.63 (+0.3), while Abbie Taddeo won the 100m hurdles in 13.33 (+0.4), Hana Basic the 100 m in 11.48 (-0.9). Mackenzie Little threw 58.54m to win the javelin (World champion Kelsey-Lee Barber second 53.46) and Nicola McDermott cleared 1.91m for victory in the high jump.
