HASTINGS (NZL): World champion 2017 in the shot put Tom Walsh believes the rescheduling of the Jennian Homes New Zealand Track and Field Championships in Hastings has worked in his favour as he seeks a 12th successive national title on Friday. “I’m certainly in better shape than I would have been three weeks ago because we decided as a team to lengthen out my peak,” says Walsh.
