In light of the 2017 win in NYC by Shalane Flanagan, becoming the first American woman since Miki Gorman, (1977), Bill Rodgers responded to Jeff Benjamin with some thoughts about Shalane’s brilliant win. This is our number 10, in twelve salutes to the NYC Marathon 50th anniversary Rewind.
