Malaika Mihambo won the European Outdoor in 2018, then lost the 2019 EA Indoor. In 2021, Malaika took the EA Indoor in 2021 and Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and it take changing her approach.
MANNHEIM (GER): Long jump Olympic champion Malaika Mihambo wants to tackle in the coming athletics season on two ways to eliminate weaknesses. “Because body and mind are always part of a good performance. You can’t separate them either. As for the physical, I would of course still like to work on my weaknesses, “said the world champion to FAZ. “This year in particular has shown that the run-up was my weakness, which prevented me from realizing my potential: 720 was there, but I couldn’t show it,” said the native of Heidelberg.
