The RAK Half is one of the fastest courses in the world. I covered the event in 2018 and truly enjoyed the event, which pits many of the best in Ethiopia and Kenya against each other on a very fast half marathon course.

RAS AL KHAIMAH (UAE): Helen Obiri and Titus Ekiru have been announced for the elite field of the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon, one of the most prestigious race in the world, on 19 February. The Kenyan will go head-to-head against fellow teammate Brigid Kosgei, the world marathon record holder. Titus Ekiru will face half-marathon world record holder (57:31) Jacob Kiplomo of Uganda, and Abel Kipchumba, who clocked one of the fastest-times ever with 58:07 to win the Valencia HM last October.
