RunBlogRun presents
Socialing The Distance with Larry Eder
Featuring Josh Rowe, NSAF Board Member
I first met Josh Rowe in 1999, with Johnny Truax. Josh and Johnny were the founders of the Nike Border Clash, an event held for two decades, celebrating cross country with a on campus battle between Oregon and Washington. The Border Clash was where Nike NXN came from. Josh moved from Nike to New Balance and New Balance took over the Indoor and Outdoor championships, founded by NSAF.
NSAF kept the Indoor and outdoors going once New Balance decided, after a decade to go on their own. In this interview, Josh Rowe explains to us the vagaries of the Nike Indoor and Outdoor Champs, the NSAF and how this all benefits high school athletes across North America!
Thanks to Josh Rowe, and Mike Deering, our production manager for #Socialing the Distance. The program was originally launched on February 3, 2022.
