Hobbs Kessler is a professional athlete, competing for sponsor adidas, and training with the Very Nice Track Club, under the learned eyes of Ron Warhurst. Hobbs trains with Mason Ferlic, a 2021 Olympian at the steeplechase, Ben Flanagan, two time Falmouth road race champion, and NCAA champion at 10,000m (2018) , and Nick Willis, 2008 Olympic silver medalist, 1,500 meters, and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, 1,500 meters.
Hobbs ran an 800m in 1:49.68 on May 8, 2021. On May 29, 2021, Mr. Kessler ran an awesome 3:34.36, an American Under 20 record, at the Stumptown Twilight. Kessler made it through the first round of the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 1,500m. He did not make it into the sem -finals.

In 2022 so far, Hobbs set a PB at 3,000m. On January 22, 2022, Hobbs Kessler ran 7:59.4 PB for the 3,000m indoors. On Feb. 6, 2022, Hobbs ran a mile PB of 3:57.10 for the indoor mile a new PB. En route, Hobbs took the 1,500m, American Under 20 record as well!
