RunBlogRun provides daily training information on building summer mileage. This is day 5, week 8 of the 2022 RunBlogRun Summer Cross Country Mileage Program.
Recovery is one of the most important parts of a training cycle. Many athletes and coaches do not give recovery the respect that it deserves.
On recovery days, keep the pace relaxed, and make sure that you warm up slowly and cool down slowly. Your workout today, 26 August 2022, is warm-up, 45 minutes of running, 6 x 150-meter stride outs, and cool down.
