They just took second at the NB Fifth Avenue Mile last weekend, after winning two big mile races late in the season. The long run is a key to our weekly training program. For high schoolers, we had you build up from 50 to 75 minutes over the summer. Keep it at a talking pace and enjoy the run with some friends and a fun trail or park.
Today’s workout, warmup, 60-75 minutes, depending on how you feel after the race from yesterday, and then, cooldown.
