This is the Coffee with Larry program for Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Coffee with Larry is a FB LIVE program that began in June 2022, and we moved to embed on RunBlogRun in July 2022.
This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on all things track & field!
This is our program, #CoffeeWithLarry for Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Our topics today:
1. This is NXN week, and the NXN champs happen on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
2. The NCAA Div II happens on Friday, December 2, 2022.
3. FootLocker West regional (oops, Champs XC) is December 3, 2022.
4. Cross country is at the top of the season!
5. How will World Athletics Council deal with the Kenyan doping situation?
6. I have no issue with Max Siegel making $2.5 million, he helped bring $400 million over the next 20 plus years in the sport. I just want to know what he will do to make the sport better.
7. There should be standards for posting track meets, XC races and road races on local and national TV and streaming.
8. Want support from media for your events? Support them!
9. The Fitness Bank Cross Challenge, a superb elite cross country event, will be held on December 1, in Austin, Texas!
9. We will catch up on our sport’s current dilemmas tomorrow.
