This release is on the announcement of ticket sales, a purely digital program, for the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships.
Tickets for the Istanbul 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships are now on sale to the general public and can be purchased here.
The four-day championships take place between 2-5 March 2023 and are set to attract some of the biggest names in the sport. Among the champions in Torun two years ago were recently crowned European Athletes of the Year Armand Duplantis (pole vault), Jakob Ingebrigtsen (1500/3000m), and Femke Bol (400m, 4x400m).
Ticket prices begin from as little as five euros per session, with combined ticket packages for the entire championships beginning from 60 euros. Tickets have been divided into three categories: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
The championships will be held at the Atakoy Stadium, which also hosted the 2012 World Athletics Indoor Championships.
One tree planted for every ticket purchased.
In line with the official motto for Istanbul 2023, ‘Protect Nature,‘ the organizers have also pledged to plant a bay tree for every ticket sold. After the event, the Istanbul 2023 Forest will be planted as a lasting legacy of the championships.
Along with online sales, the public can also visit the official Istanbul 2023 booth during the Istanbul Marathon & Sports Fair at Kadir Topbas Expo Center from 3-5 November for more information and to purchase tickets.
