Mondo Duplantis draws a big amount of fans around the world. The Golden Spike Ostrava will be held on June 27, 2023. Mondo is the current world record holder, and European, World, and Olympic champion. The Golden Spike Ostrava is always built around the superstars of the sport. The Ostrava meet is on my to go-to list.

OSTRAVA: The star of the 62nd Golden Spike Ostrava (WACT Gold) is pole vaulter Armand “Mondo” Duplantis of Sweden. The world record holder has already been confirmed for this year’s edition on June 27th in the municipal stadium. The meeting continues the trend of showcasing the absolute best names in the sport. The 23-year-old set the world record last year at 6.21 meters outdoors and 6.20 meters indoors and is the reigning Olympic, European, and world champion indoors and outdoors. He started the 2023 season with 6.10 meters, the best start of the season that a pole vaulter has ever made.
