This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on all things track & field!
Good morning, this is #coffeewithLarry for Wednesday, April 26, 2023!
Our topics!
1. Please check out our #WitnesstheWonder features, numbers 1-9, (sponsored) https://www.runblogrun.com/…/witness-the-wonder-world…
2. The mother of Caitlyn Jenner, Esther, has passed away at the age of 96, our thoughts and prayers are with Caitlyn and her family.
3. Tara Davis received a 1-month ban from AIU and USADA for testing positive for marijuana, so she will lose her LJ title. Having weed as a banned substance just takes away, IMHO, from the important job of drug testing. When one smokes marijuana, one wants to order a pizza or some donuts, not run, jump and throw!
4. NB Outdoors is June 15-18, 2023, at U Penn’s Franklin Field! (sponsored), www.nbnationals.com.
5. Don’t miss the registration time for the AJC Peachtree Road Race (sponsored ), www.atlantatrackclub.org/peachtree
6. Fred Kerley vs. Marcell Jacobs-a super rivalry? by Deji Ogeyingbo, https://www.runblogrun.com/…/athletics-find-its-next…
Fred Kerley, 100m World ChampionsWorld Athletics Championships
