We robustly suggest that all runners take a two-week active break after the fall cross country season.
If you are hoping to race indoors in January or late December, you will not lose much of your fall endurance.
It is essential that you give your body a break from racing.
If you are going to go out today,
then take a walk, ride a bike, take a swim, or run 30 minutes.
