1. The Women’s LJ, won by Tara Davis-Woodhall, started with two fouls for Tara, but did she fly above that! Tara leaped 7.11m and also 7.12m!

2. The Women’s HJ, Vashti Cunningham won in 1.97m, a strong performance for the sixteen time high jump champion.
3. Men’s Long Jump, Isaac Grimes won on his last leap, with 8.15m, with William Williams, 8.14m and Jarrion Lawson, 8.12m.
4. Women’s Triple Jump: Jasmine Moore, PUMA, won in 14.68m, her last jump was her very best. Agur Dwol, 13.76m in second, Euphene Andre, 13.64m for third.

5. Men’s Pole Vault, Austin Miller won at 5.83m, with Sam Kendricks, 5.73m, Matt Ludwig, 5.73m, with Austin clear to 5.97 m on his third attempt!

6. Men’s Triple Jump, Russell Robinson, 17.15m, Saif Maine, NYAC, 17.15m, and Will Claye, Red Bull, 17.09m. Will, who won London medals at LJ and TJ, must leap 17.22m to go to Tokyo!
7. Women’s PV: Sandi Morris, two time World Champion Indoor gold, two time silver WC outdoor, and Olympic bronze, won in 4.83m, Katie Moon, Olympic champ, World champ, 4.73m, Amanda Moll, 4.73m, Hana Moll, 4.73m.

Larry Eder has had a 52-year involvement in the sport of athletics. Larry has experienced the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has published several magazines on athletics, from American Athletics to the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Of RunBlogRun, his daily pilgrimage with the sport, Larry says: "I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, the most of anything I have ever done, except, maybe running itself." Also does some updates for BBC Sports at key events, which he truly enjoys.
