1. Does Khalid Khannouchi get the respect he deserves? Chicago winner in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2002. In 2002, after setting a WR in London, Khalid became the first man to go sub 2:06 twice in one year!

2. Connor Mantz had some tough moments in Chicago. Connor noted to the media that he considered being ready to run the Valencia Marathon (Dec. 7) if he had not set an AR in Chicago.
3. Met Clayton Young at Chicago. What a class act!
4. C.J. Albertson ran well, three weeks post Tokyo World Champs, with a 2:10:38. Well done!

7. Brooks XC Nationals, presented by #FleetFeet, has announced a streaming deal with #FloTrack, details coming. Regionals are November 29 and December 6, with Nationals on December 14! Remember, 20 athletes will get #GoldenTickets!
