The story of the collapse of the Foot Locker race series, and the light-speed takeover by Brooks Running is a story in itself. Be careful what you wish for! Then, the Brooks sports marketing team, and the rest of the Brooks brand had to put the four regionals and national meet on, gather co-sponsors, put together a streaming video program and get the word out!
And they did it, with the help of Sound Running, Fleet Feet Sports, Flotrack.com, SuperFeet and their other partners, the 2025 Brooks XC Championships, presented by Fleet Feet Sports became a reality.

His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun.
