His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has published several magazines on athletics, from American Athletics to the U.S. version of Spikes magazine.     Such a shame the LA and NYC Grand Prix were missed in 2025! Both are iconic events that really energize the sport in the US. I’m hopeful that we’ll see their return soon, especially with the global interest in athletics continuing to rise.
