Tokyo 2025
World Athletics Championships
Day 4 Review

The 2025 World Athletics Championship was one of my favorites in all fifteen that I have attended, which goes back to 1995 ( I missed 1997).
The sixty thousand fans in the Tokyo Olympic stadium kept the evening sessions loud and fun! Japanese athletes were recieved by the fans with huge applause. The heat and humidity most days and nights added to the challenging nature of the World Championships. Tokyo was a fantastic host, with lovely people, wonderful support in the hotels, great ramen in the small local ramen houses, and fans who had missed the Olympics and loved the chance to celebrate global sports!
Faith Kipeyegon showed us how to race the 1,500 meters on Day 4! Enjoy the coverage!
