STOCKHOLM (SWE): Olympic and World Championship silver medallist Kishane Thompson will headline the men’s 60m at the BAUHAUS-Galan Indoor (WIT Silver) on Thursday 22 January. He will be joined by reigning World and European Indoor Champion Jeremiah Azu, 2023 European Indoor Champion Samuele Ceccarelli of Italy and home athlete Isak Hughes. Also confirmed are Brits Romell Glave and Jody Smith, Jamaica’s Rohan Watson, Jan Volko of Slovakia, Belgian Simon Verherstraeten, Ippei Takeda of Japan, Oman’s Ali Anwar Al Balushi, and Americans Coby Hilton and Lawrence Johnson. Tia Clayton and Tina Clayton lead the women’s 60m field. It will be Tina Clayton’s first indoor competition. Home athletes Julia Henriksson and Nora Lindahl will compete. Organisers inform that Henrik Larsson will not be starting due to injury.
