Ammar Moussa, 2010 USA XC Champs, photo by PhotoRun.net.

Ammar Moussa was a Cal State Div 1 champion last year over two miles. He leads the
number two team in the country, Arcadia High School, per the Harrier XC Pre-Season
Super 25 HS XC team rankings. The Super 25 are the life work of Marc Bloom.
We met
Ammar at the adidas grand prix. A thoughtful young man, Ammar told us that he has big
goals for the 2010 cross country season!

Marc Bloom has been writing about our sport for over forty years. I first read Marc’s book on cross country, then enjoyed his writing and editing of The Runner in those heady days of 1979 and the early eighties.

A keen observer of the sport of cross country, and a former coach, Marc’s Super 25 HS Rankings are followed by high school and college coaches, athletes and fans. Here is the 2010 PreSeason Super 25 HS Team Rankings.

(For subscriptions to the Harrier: 1-year subscription is $38 a year for 8 issues (6 fall, 2 spring)
mailed 1st-class. Season‘s Preview Issue published this week. Send
