Donavan Brazier returns to college coach, Alleyne Francique

LAS VEGAS (USA): US junior 800 m record holder Donavan Brazier who turned pro in summer switched back to his A&M coach who is former GrenadaÂ´s top 400 m runner Alleyne Francique. Informs Flotrack.

RunBlogRun opines: Arguably one of our most talented 800 meter runners in five decades, Donavan Brazier broke, on the 50th anniversary, the NCAA record of one Jim Ryun, at the ripe old age of 19. His Olympic Trials were a series of mishaps ( “I did not follow my coaches’ advice”, Donavan told RunBlogRun this past weekend. Alleyne Francique, the NCAA champion over 400 meters, is developing Brazier as a 400m/800m runner. I for one, can not wait to see how Donavan Brazier and Clayton Murphy, the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist at 800 meters duel over 2017!
