Jeff Benjamin just sent this piece by Bobby Hodge, one of my favorite athletes of all times. Bob Hodge is special because, he kept his training consistent, and showed what can happen when a fine athlete believes in one self. At the end of the day, Bob Hodge is a class act.

“The current situation, while unnerving and a bit frightening, has not kept me from a fairly normal routine. I run every day and cover 25 miles/week. But I am no longer a competitive runner.
For those athletes who had competition planned this spring and summer it is a big challenge to overcome the disappointment but understand everyone is in the same boat.
Don’t be discouraged paramount stay safe and readjust your prior goals and training accordingly. Athletes need to be adaptable and great achievement goes hand in hand with some big letdowns.
Hopefully you can summon the desire and motivation to prepare for another day it will be a big test of one’s commitment.”
