This is a fun little video on the beginnings of our journey to Birmingham, England. We always do circuitous routes, depending our airfares and needs. The World Indoors has over 530 athletes from over 70 countries and the host city is one of my favorites.

What we did not expect, however was the snow, the cold and how much it affected Birmingham. Essentially the philosophy here is, we will wait the snow out. No snow shovels, no salt, little sand, so you trudge around and try to make it work.
