The Stockholm DL is one of my favorite meets on the Diamond League circuit.

This was a tremendous year, with great performances!

The stadium dates back to the 1912 Olympics, where the IAAF was formed, and Jim Thorpe competed. It was the stadium that I watched Usain Bolt race and sign autographs for an hour.

I watched Katey Mackey win her first 3000m in a Diamond League meeting. I watched the wonderful crowds, and atmosphere in the Stockholm stadium. The press conferences are always fun, and intimate, where we could do questions with top athletes.

In 2011, I walked on the warm-up wooden track that Paavo Nurmi and Jim Thorpe used. The history, past and present is amazing. I hope to be there next year.
