2025 Summer Mileage Program, June 27, 2025, track is over, keep it relaxed, Friday of the first week.

This is a recovery day.

Your workout for today:

Warm-up slowly,

40-60 minutes, easy running,

6 x 150-meter stride-outs, with vigor,

cooldown,

hydrate,

get off wet clothes,

recover,

Larry’s Deep Thoughts: Recover today so you can race tomorrow.

The adidas Atlanta City Games is Saturday, May 18, 2024. The stars of adidas will be featured on a 200-meter straight track located in Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Noah Lyles, Anna Hall, Grant Holloway, Tobi Amusan, and Wayde Van Niekerk are among the adidas stars who will be there!

On the opposite side of the country, the LA Grand Prix will be held on Saturday, May 18, after the USATF Distance Carnival on Friday night, May 17. My favorite event? The women’s 200-meter race with Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, Jenna Prandini, and Abby Steiner should be spectacular! Gabby is racing the 100m and then, 20 minutes later, the 200 meters!

Across the pond, the Night of 10,000m PBs will take place in Hampstead Heath on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

You can watch all of these events on streaming video!
