Here is what Martin said to the media in the Mixed Zone:
“I feel a bit neutral to be honest because I’ve put all my emotions out there, and I’m also a bit tired. I’m feeling great, though. I think the competitions I had in my early life were good for me. I learned a lot from each of them, especially from the bad ones. It’s pretty important for safety, for great consistency and for big competitions. I went into this final with the mindset that Ethan Katzberg is going to throw very far. But I did my best and focused all on myself and that worked out.”

Martin had taken silver in the European Champs 2023 U23. He also competed in Paris 2024!
This interview was done at adidas Hospitality in Tokyo. Each major brand has a refuge for their athletes and family. Special thanks to Alessandra Corbi, adidas Comms Global, who took my questions and did the interviews of the three hammer medalists!
Please enjoy!
