Our Training Tip for the Week: Recovery Days are Essential!

“Keep recovery days very easy. Josh Kerr uses an analog watch to keep the run at 50 minutes, and very relaxed. Recovery days are meant to be easy!”

The Brooks Hyperion Elite Five is the shoe of choice for many elite and NIL athletes sponsored by Brooks, as well as many of the top high school athletes in the U.S. It is used by Des Linden, Jess McClain and Erika Kemp!

A Tip on Tempo runs, from Brooks Beasts Coach, Danny Mackey:

” On tempo runs, 20 minutes is a good time for high school runners. For pace, 20 to 25 seconds slower than your current mile pace during a 5k race is a pretty good pace for this workout!”
