Champions Battocletti and Kwizera in Alcobendas

ALCOBENDAS (ESP): Defending champions and 2025 World Athletics Cross Country Tour overall winners, Nadia Battocletti and Rodrigue Kwizera, highlight the entry lists for the Cross Internacional de la Constitución (WA XC Tour Gold) on Sunday. Fresh Atapuerca Cross winner Batocletti faces a quality opposition of Kenya’s Sheila Jebet, finishing second in Atapuerca, Great Britain’s Megan Keith, U20 Ethiopia’s Cinque Mulini winner Yenenesh Shimket and local challenge Laura Luengo. The Spain-based Burundian Kwizera finished in first place in Alcobendas for four years in a row, and takes on Eritrea’s Cinque Mulini champion Saymon Amanuel, Italy’s Yohanes Chiappinelli and Thierry Ndikumwenayo.
