Today is Saturday, September 24, 2022. It is a race day and the sixth day of Week four of our 2022 Fall Cross Country Training & Racing program.
Eliud Kipchoge will race the Berlin Marathon on Sunday, September 25, 2022. By the time you get ready for your Sunday long run, you can check Twitter and see how he did. Keira D’Amato will be there,the American record holder, who began her second running career in her thirties, and is now looking at smashing her own AR!
Your workout for today is race warm up, race cross country. In this race, try and finish hard over the last 400-500m, with an acceleration at 200m and 100m! Get in a 30-40 minute run, then stretch for a cooldown. Get in training shoes after your race and dry clothes, please!
