Valarie Allman is the Olympic champion. In Tokyo, just before the rain began in earnest, Valarie got the leading throw out and took the gold.

In the world championships last year, Valarie took the bronze, with a big throw by Bin Feng, and silver by Sandra Perkovic.

Valarie won the silver in the 2014 World Junior Champs in Eugene, Oregon.

She trains under Coach Zebulon Sion, who coaches throws at the University of Texas. Valarie is the volunteer assistant under Coach Zion.

Valerie Allman competes for the NYAC with sponsorship by ASICS.

Valerie Adams also holds the AR in the discus of 71.46m (234′-51/2″) at the Triton Invitational at La Jolla, CA, on 8 April 2022.

Valerie’s throw was the 15th throw in history and the best throw in 30 years.
